IBM Pastor's Conference

So I'm on ESPN.com to see if the Browns and the Wolverines are actually the same team, and an IBM video plays. Picture two men sitting by each other:

How was the Innovation Workshop?

Innovative.

Funny. What'd they talk about?

It was an Innovation Workshop. They talked about innovation.

Did they talk about execution?

No.

Too bad.

It then flashes two texts up:

Of course, there is a conference for those who want to do.

I find it amusing that the need to actually execute, in order put bread on
    the table, invokes such
    marketing skills in
    business
, but the church can't put bread in the pews because it is too
    enamored with innovation.

    Now you're talking! : )

Not that you weren't before of course.

    Yay for execution!

Less talk and more action evades us; we just can't shut up, you know? gtgds > gtgss (got to go do something is greater than got to go say something)

That's why I don't feel real compelled toward the Sunday Morning Service... what else is there to say, you know?

    Shalom - good point Danny

well, God has called for preaching...so, in that sense, talking is an action.

i guess it largely depends on the focus of our conversation:

    The Creator

    or

    our own weak creativity
