i just read your comment on david's blog to his last post but wasn't able to respond there. i, too, love our simplified week of worship and study. and although it is simplified, it is still as challenging and engrossing as one wants to make it, depending on the time invested. how sad that some think it is not enough. it can't be that it's been tried and found lacking....
as for your preaching workshop - though i feel a little excluded, i'll be praying for you and the men who attend. will david be helping you?
one of the tensions is hearing people say it is not enough and knowing the Word cannot be lacking...so we have to examine is it their lack of motivation or a lack of being equipped?
if it's a lack of being equipped, that's supposed to be the shepherds' job, so we have to assess what we are doing. if it's a lack of their motivation, we pray and keep ministering the Word, but not sure what else we can do.
as for the class....don't feel excluded. feel privileged that we are going to test this experiment on others, before we open it up to others!
I was told that you would be on Joy Fm again this morning for the spotlight. I tried to listen to it but it never came on. When I checked the website it said the station was 88.9. This is a classic station. Maybe it is on a different frequency over in Dayton? Where you even on this morning?

you get preached at so much when i come home, you could probably teach this class!

yeah, we were on the air this morning. it was fun.
it was only between songs, so there wasn't a lot of time.
