my UNV 180 class had quite a discussion about this movie in our final lecture yesterday--and in the college world..there is even a facebook group protesting the movie
Having heard about the movie, it was good to finally find a well-written article that explained what the movie was about. Thanks for posting the link, Danny. We actually own the set of books, having bought them at a garage sale a couple of years ago. The garage sale had *tons* of Christian novels, and t'shirts. Guess someone else thought they were similar to C S Lewis, which is why I bought them!

The Golden Compass - I loved it. It was much better than Cats. I'm going to see it again and again.
